Tugson Press was founded in November 2006, by Leo Shelton (with the never-ending support of my partner and best friend Kay Clanton, and countless family and friends). Tugson Press' purpose is two-fold; to self-publish, distribute and sell works of poetry, novels, photography and associated arts, and to promote new and pioneering artists. We will cultivate a venue for new and interesting talent with a focus on creative ingenuity, education and exploration. We will foster important dialogue by presenting artistic works founded in familiarity, but focusing on various truths expressed in artistic form that derive and connect within that confine - thus our slogan, "Messages from familiar places."
Fresh to the industry - we eagerly anticipate learning as we grow, and we look forward to the challenges and success that will come through collaboration, creative exploration and, of course, your support! Watch us - we are a small press with some very big ideas and plans!
